DYFL provides a safe and fun environment for local youth to learn and compete in tackle football. DYFL currently consists of two seasons: Spring and Fall.

     Our Juniors Division is a great way to get your child to learn the very basics of football fundamentals while our Elite Division is a great way to prepare your Jr. High school student(s) to play at the next level, High School. Most of our Elite Division teams (some even down to the Juniors) are officially connected with local High Schools. These teams usually have players that are zoned for and will "feed" into that High School. Some teams even practice on that High Schools football field and even run the same plays thus giving your young player an advantage (we hope) when trying out for the Varsity and Jr. Varsity team of that school in the near future!!!

To all Players, Parents, Coaches, and Teams:

We, at the DYFL are welcomed guest of the University of Las Vegas, Nevada (UNLV). They, unlike similar organizations, have been more than accommodating by welcoming our league to their stunning facility. Their gracious extension of hospitality has not gone unnoticed and we intend to maintain our good standing.

Unfortunately, the last time we utilized the UNLV fields our parents and teams displayed little restraint when referring to the items and mounds of garbage that remained long after many had gone home. I and my fellow DYFL staffers were left to do what so many others chose not to do, clean up their garbage. We cleaned and did so with the goal of preserving what for the league is invaluable and that is staying within good standing with UNLV. So the following restrictions come with that intent in mind:

- There will be zero allowance of coolers and food brought into the field area.
- Water/juice/soda/energy drink bottles will be restricted to players and coaches.
- No pets
- No sunflower seeds - A $250 fine will be issued to anyone found eating sunflower seeds
- No smoking or chewing tobacco products

Your cooperation with our request will assure that our league, your kids and your teams will continually possess this fortunate opportunity to perform at this renowned facility year after year. Any attempts of refusal to comply with said restrictions could result in game stoppage and or immediate dismissal of offending party from facility.
